Dian

Dian is a personal assistant equipped with artificial intelligence, which can answer simple questions and provide amusement through basic conversations with your smartphone.

Dian offers several basic functions, providing information on the weather, jokes, narrated news and more. Once installed, you will be advised to update it as often as you can, in order to receive all possible services, which are renewed every so often.

Dian works in a very straightforward way. As opposed to the most famous personal assistants, such as Siri or Cortana, Dian works via written commands, instead of voice commands. That is to say, when you start the app, a small bar appears in the middle of the screen where you can type whatever you want Dian to do for you. Currently, it only understands commands written in English, though it promises to be available in other languages soon. Decide on the information you want Dian to find out for you and tap the blue button at the bottom right-hand side of the screen. If Dian recognizes the command, she will help you. Once you have finished using her services, tap the red button at the bottom left-hand side of the screen to close the app.

Dian is a fairly basic personal assistant, which still has quite a lot to learn. However, it promises to be of more help in the near future.
